Dr. Robert C. Rankins, MD, an Emergency Medicine physician and serial entrepreneur in McKinney, TX. He is board certified in Emergency Medicine, a certified Tactical Medical Provider and Master Peace Officer. In 2015 he exited from a Freestanding Emergency Center business, which he founded in 2003. Dr. Rankins currently holds patents on multiple medical devices. He has served as President of the County Medical Society, VP for Advocacy for the State Association of Free-Standing Emergency Departments and on the board of the Collin County Childrens Advocacy Center. He has been the tactical physician for the Collin County Sheriffs office since 2005 and serves as a reserve Deputy Sheriff. Dr. Rankins is leading Research & Development for RCR Medical Products and will ensure the company stays on the leading edge of medical products for trauma and prehospital care.
A registered nurse with over 20 years of emergency room and management experience. He has a passion for emergency care and has worked extensively on prehospital trauma care committees. His current focus as the Director of Operations is in product development, production, and sales.
Caitlin Ferrell
Director of Marketing
Caitlin is the Director of Marketing for RCR Medical. She brings expertise and experience in digital marketing, social media management, and website design. She has specialized experience working in the medical marketing industry. She graduated from Pace University with a degree in Advertising and Integrated Marketing Communications.

Bryce Hansen
Bryce is a part of RCR Medical’s board of advisors. He has over 14 years of experience in a business and military career. He is a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point and holds a Master of Science degree in leadership from Norwich University.

Ty Actkinson
Ty is a part of RCR Medical’s board of advisors. His education background comes from Florida Community College, University of North Florida, Embry Riddle Aeronautical University & Army Flight School. He was a part of Operation Iraqi Freedom 2004-2005 and Operation Enduring Freedom 2007-2008.

Sharalyn Fichtl
Sharalyn Fichtl is a part of RCR Medical’s board of advisors. She is a 1994 graduate of the Texas Department of Public Safety training Academy and holds a Bachelors Degree in Law Enforcement Administration. She is currently a TCOLE licensed Master Peace Officer commissioned by the Melissa ISD Police Department. Her additional certifications include Basic Instructor and Field Training Officer.
